Congratulations to Marina Warner, winner of The National Book Critics Circle Award for Criticism, for her 2012 book Stranger Magic. Violette Editions is currently working with Marina on publication of her collected art criticism, in two volumes, The Symbol Gives Rise to Thought.

On Monday, 30 April, head to Dashwood Books at 33 Bond Street, between Lafayette and Bowery, where Norbert will be signing a limited number of advance copies of Third Life, his new monograph published by Violette Editions, from 6 until 8 pm. Dashwood is the only independent bookshop in New York City devoted entirely to photography. Come and meet Norbert and pick up your copy, signed by the artist. The book will be widely available from June.
